F.F. (FOX'SFARM) OF ALAPAHA BLUE BLOOD BULLDOGS IS DEDICATED TO THE
PRESERVATION OF THIS RARE AND UNIQUE BREED
PRESERVATION OF THIS RARE AND UNIQUE BREED

Hi, and welcome to our family at Fox'SFarm. We live just one hour from Pittsburgh, in Western Pa. on 45 acres with lots of trees and rolling countryside, where small streams run through our property, and there is always plenty of space to run and play. We share our home with our Alapahas and Chihuahuas Pepe and Tigger. We and our kids also share the farm with our two trail riding mules Mulberry and Storm, Icelandic Sheep, pet geese and chickens, as well as cows and pigs on occasion.
While researching and comparing many, many dog breeds that might be suitable for our family and specific lifestyle here on our farm, we found the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. Through lengthy study on this particular breed, communication with other breeders and paying close attention to bloodlines and gaining much valuable knowledge along the way, we were finally ready to acquire our first Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog pup: F.F. MOONRAKER'S APPLEJACK FOX. Our main concerns were to find a stable breed that was INHERENTLY NON-aggressive towards people or other dogs, and NOT prone to challenging/testing its people for dominance, but also be affectionate and loyal, capable of protecting us and defending our animals. Finding these combined qualities was a long process but well worth it...
Our Alapahas are a much ADORED extension of our family and we would never be without them! They share our home and are kenneled sometimes when in season, of course. This breed is quite rare and their genetics are precious. Therefore, after considerable research along with our love for the breed, our devotion is to PRESERVE the bloodlines unique to the Alapaha, following within the standard delineation in accordance to Ms. Lana Lou Lane (Founder of the breed). Our dogs Pedigrees go back seven plus generations. We aspire to preserve and carry on this lineage in the future, always having them as our BELOVED pets watching over us, our farm and livestock. Thus, continuing what they were bred to do...
Our breeding program is home based, and we limit our litters to coincide only when we have the time and dedication it takes to raise them appropriately. Puppies are whelped and raised inside our home where they experience lots of affection, family life and noises, not outdoors or away from daily human interaction until the day they leave us to only loving and secure homes. This is not a 9-5 facility or a regular job. We take great joy in providing our puppies with the proper foundation starting from birth. All shots and exams, etc., are performed by our local licensed veterinarian along with an optimum grain free diet. We train every puppy the concept of ringing the "Potty-Bells" along with the crate as our methods of housebreaking, and begin their leash training at no additional fee. Daily socialization for each puppy is mandatory and when they are old enough, we expose them to many surfaces, other animals on the farm and people, to help prepare them for becoming confident and well socialized lifelong companions. New owners should continue these practices... You may schedule to meet the puppies in person after their first puppy booster shots by 6 weeks of age. Occasionally, a select pup will remain with us for protection and the continuation of the bloodlines.
Due to Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs being highly rare and having such a unique narrow gene pool, we will "Outcross" *ONLY* with selective PURE BRED WEB (White English Bulldogs), one of the ORIGINAL breeds Ms. Lana Lou Lane used in establishing her Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs. This helps in "relaxing the bloodlines" and plays a large role in producing offspring which can be less affected by genetic defects and hereditary diseases.
~There are NO Raoul "Ray" T. Coleman / CRK bloodlines in any of our dogs ~
*Original Stock, Lana's Foundation Sire: Lana's Marcelle Lane can be found on both sides of our dogs pedigree and *MRN* (Marker R. Nicholas who assisted Ms. Lana Lou Lane in establishing her breeding program) Stock Bloodlines*.
Breeds originally part of the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs genetic pool:
Old Southern Whites WEB (White English Bulldogs who arrived in the U.S. around the 1700s), Colby Pit bull, OSB (Old Southern Bulldogs) and Catahoula Leopard Dogs aka (Catahoula Curs).
