Hi, and welcome to our family at Fox'SFarm. We live just one hour from Pittsburgh in Western Pa. on 45 acres with lots of trees and rolling countryside, where small streams run through our property and there is always plenty of space to run and play. We share our home with our Alapahas and chihuahua Pepe. We and our kids also share the farm with our flock of sheep, pet geese, and chickens, as well as cows and pigs on occasion.

While researching and comparing many, many dog breeds that might be suitable for our family and specific lifestyle here on our farm, we found the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. Through lengthy study on this particular breed, communication with other breeders and paying close attention to bloodlines and gaining much valuable knowledge along the way, we were finally ready
to acquire our first Alapaha Blue Blood  Bulldog pup: F. F. MOONRAKER'S APPLEJACK FOX.  Our main concerns were to find a stable breed that was INHERENTLY NON-aggressive towards people or other dogs, and NOT prone to challenging/testing its people for dominance but also be affectionate and loyal, capable of protecting us and defending our animals. Finding these combined qualities was a long process but well worth it...

Our Alapahas are a much-ADORED extension of our family and we would never be without them! They share our home and are kenneled sometimes when in season, of course. This breed is quite rare and their genetics are precious. Therefore, after considerable research along with our love for the breed, our devotion is to PRESERVE the bloodlines unique to the Alapaha, following within the standard delineation in accordance to Lana Lou Lane  (founder of the breed) when she and her associate/trainer Marker R. Nicholas, helped her to re-established the Alapahas bloodline proceeding the death of Lana's stud dog Lana's Marcelle Lane. Our dog's Pedigrees go back seven-plus generations. We aspire to preserve and carry on this lineage in the future, always having them as our BELOVED pets watching over us, our farm and livestock. Thus, continuing what they were bred to do...

Our breeding program is home-based, and we limit our litters to coincide only when we have the time, and dedication it takes to raise them appropriately. Puppies are whelped and raised inside our home where they experience lots of affection, family life, and noises, not outdoors or away from daily human interaction until the day they leave us to only loving and secure homes. This is not a 9-5 facility or a regular job. We take great joy in providing our puppies with the proper foundation starting from birth.

Due to Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs being highly rare, and having such a unique, narrow gene pool, we will "Outcross" *ONLY* with selective, PUREBRED White English Bulldogs (WEB) aka Old Southern Whites, one of the ORIGINAL breeds used in establishing the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs. This helps in "relaxing the bloodlines" and plays a large role in producing offspring which can be less affected by genetic defects, and hereditary diseases. Stock bloodlines can be found on both sides of our dogs' pedigrees.

Old Southern White aka White English Bulldog (WEB) who arrived in the U.S. around the 1700s, Colby Pitbull, Old Southern Bulldog (OSB) and
 Catahoula Leopard Dog aka
Catahoula Cur.
