Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog Conservators committed to the preservation of this rare and noble canine. Our focus is on maintaining health and breed integrity through genetic diversity and careful selection. By keeping low Coefficient of Inbreeding or COI% . This ethical breeding practice reduces the risk of offspring inheriting genetic disorders, which is vital in the prevention of Inbreeding Depression. The negative consequences on health resulting from a breed that has been so closely linebred. This would eventually lead to breed endangerment.
Our devotion is to PRESERVE the bloodlines unique to the Alapaha, following within the standard delineation in accordance to when Marker R. Nicholas, had assisted Lana Lou Lane in reestablishing the ABBB bloodline proceeding the death of Lana's stud dog, Lana's Marcelle Lane, Registration no.# ARF ABBB12M. "Marker" (i.e., originator of the Old Southern Bulldog OSB), was also Lana's associate and trainer.
We only introduce "selective breeds" (i.e., White English Bulldog WEB aka Old Southern White, and the Old Southern Bulldog OSB) breeds into our breeding stock that are original to the Alapaha's heritage. Maintaining breed integrity/purity of lineage.
Our girl Lexy aka F. F. Lexy Pearl Fox of MRN, is a pure Old Southern Bulldog OSB. She was originally acquired from Marker. Lexy was bred to Baron aka Big Sky's Baron of Hilton, a White English Bulldog WEB aka Old Southern White. He is registered by the W.W.E.B.A. Working White English Bulldog Association. Registration no.# AWE- B1MO15-L7-0003. Baron is the Sire of our girls, Lily, Lulu, and Leia. Leia is retired.
