Rawhides, pig ears, knuckle bones or things of that nature pose a risk of your puppy/dog choking, and could also lead to them losing interest in the safer toys which can't compete with the flavor basting on those others type chews.

This breed likes to chew! Once you see loose fibers or a toy has exposed stuffing then of course, throw it away.
